Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm Teresa Fric, the founder of Savaya Ventures. I work as a strategic advisor and growth advisor with visionary founders.
I have a global and unique experience from the corporate and startup worlds and a strong global investor network. And I'm here to help you succeed and grow your business.
I always say it’s a very good question. Ever since I was a teenager, I have been drawn to international politics. I loved everything about it, law, diplomacy, different cultures, different dynamics, and worldviews. So naturally, I initially pursued my higher education in international relations and politics. I got my first master’s degree in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London. And as the majority of graduates, yep, I’m a cliché, I did not start my career in my field. Instead, I started working in a multinational corporation in the Financial department. I loved it so much that I decided to get my second master’s degree in business from the University of St Andrews. And that’s when my real journey began.

Before I got into the investment industry, I worked at PwC, KPMG, and DHL where advisory was literally my everyday bread and butter. I advised large multinational companies across multiple industries. My expertise lied in financial, strategic, management, and IT advisory. At PwC, my role expanded to business development and sourcing new deals, while at KPMG, I was also a part of an anti-laundering team working closely with the US Department of Justice. And at DHL, I was responsible for the EMEA region. I flew around Europe, Russia, and Africa, where I audited and advised DHL's local legal entities.
In 2017, I started trading crypto and set up a mining farm with my friends. This was my introduction to the controversial space of blockchain and crypto. Since then, I've made some pretty good trades and some bad trades, which were valuable learning lessons and gave me insights and a roadmap into what to do and not to do.
The year 2019 was my breakthrough year; it is when I fully immersed in the investment industry. That year I joined FairGreen Capital Partners as a COO, where I work and manage seasoned Wall Street bankers. My team and I work with startups and boutique asset managers, closing large deals with ticket sizes ranging from $2 M to $850 M. Since I joined, we had a few exceptional wins
One of my favorites is an investment in a deep tech company in Spain from one of our UHNWI, who invested $4 M and was offered a buyout at $24 M in 12 months of investment closing—a nice 6x ROI in just one year. For me, in this case, it is not about the size of the deployed capital, which is on the lower spectrum, but about the quality of our portfolio company and the ROI our investor got.
